Jason is the lead pastor at Redeemer Midland. He started following Christ as a six-year-old boy. He was born and raised on a farm west of Amarillo, Texas. He was a pre-med major at Amarillo College when God, incredibly clearly, called him to life as a pastor. Jason immediately transferred to Dallas Baptist University to study the Bible and meet his incredible wife, Hannah. They have three beautiful, fun, creative, and very energetic kids: Judah, Paisley, and Hudson. Jason has served as a youth pastor at an inner-city church, the director of Baptist Student Ministries at DBU, and the College & Men’s Pastor at First Baptist Irving. Jason graduated from DBU in 2004 with a BA in Biblical studies, 2006 with an MA in higher education, and 2007 with an MBA in Business Management.
Cameron Brown serves as the Executive Pastor at Redeemer. Originally from North Dallas, Cameron met his wife at Pine Cove Christian Camps while they were working as counselors in 2009. He graduated from Texas A&M University and moved to New Braunfels where he and Lauren lived when they were married in June 2011. While working as an IT Analyst, he and Lauren served under Jason in the college ministry at First Baptist Irving before accepting the Director roles of the Young Married class. Almost immediately after Jason presented the opportunity to move to Midland, Cameron and Lauren felt confident God was calling them to join the Hatches in planting Redeemer. They have four energetic and joyful boys: Shepherd, Sawyer, Everett, and Brooks.
Chase Bost serves as Redeemer’s Mobilization Pastor. Growing up in Central Texas, Chase was saved at an early age and enjoyed serving his local church. He attended college in DFW, where he married his amazing wife Jessie, and attended First Baptist Irving. While in Irving he had the chance to serve alongside Jason Hatch & Cameron Brown. After a few years in Fort Worth, God led Chase and his family to join a church planting team in South East Asia where they lived for 3 years. In 2018, Chase and Jessie returned to Texas and reunited with Jason and Cameron in Midland to be part of the Redeemer family. Chase loves that his job allows him to interact and care for so many people at Redeemer. Chase, Jessie, and their energetic children Gabe and Kiah look forward to many years of serving Redeemer and the city of Midland.
Jordan serves as the Equipping Pastor at Redeemer. Shortly after graduating from Texas A&M, he met his wife Brittani in 2010 and they were married a year later. They started their family in Houston, where Jordan worked in the missions department at a church, followed by a 5 year stint managing a distribution warehouse. During this time, the Lord called them to move to Northwest Uganda as Family Mentors to work with orphaned young men and women from South Sudan coming to Uganda for education. The time they had with them in their home is one of the greatest honors of their life. In 2021, they sensed the Lord saying it was time to leave Uganda and go serve the American church. It is their passion to open their home to others and to display the love of Christ through hospitality. Jordan and Brittani have two kids, their daughter Braelyn and their son Jack.
Pastor of Corporate Worship
Jonathan Galvan serves as the Pastor of Corporate Worship at Redeemer. He was born and raised in Garland, TX. In 2009, Jonathan completed a business degree from Dallas Baptist University. Soon after his graduation he began serving on staff at First Baptist Irving as a worship and college pastor. He served at First Baptist Irving for 10 years. Jonathan married his beautiful wife Skyler in 2015. Skyler and Jonathan have been blessed with three children (Lydia, Samuel and Ruthie). The Galvan family moved to Wake Forest, North Carolina in January of 2020. Jonathan served full time at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary while he completed his Master of Divinity degree.
Student and Family Pastor
Corey grew up in the small town of Hereford, TX where he was saved at a young age and grew up in the church. He graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Engineering and started working in the Oil and Gas industry before he felt the call to go into ministry. He met his wife Kayla while serving in the church in Borger, TX and they were married in July 2017. He spent 6 years working with the students in Borger before being led to move to Midland. Corey has a strong desire to empower and encourage other believers, specifically younger believers, in their faith.
Nick Kamalakis serves as the Youth Resident at Redeemer. Originally from the West Coast, Nick spent the first 18 years of his life in Brentwood, California before moving to Phoenix, Arizona to attend Grand Canyon University, where he met his wife Madison. Up until March of 2022 Nick planned to venture into the field of Marriage and Family Counseling but was firmly convicted that pastoral ministry was instead where God would have him go. Nick graduated from GCU in the spring of 2022 with a degree in Psychology and moved out to Midland to begin working with Redeemer! Nick has a strong desire to educate youth on what it means to not only follow Jesus, but live for Him, in Him, and through Him by grace alone.
Women’s Ministry Coordinator
Sarah Bradford serves as the Women’s Ministry Coordinator at Redeemer. She attended college at Dallas Baptist University, where she graduated with a BA in Psychology. The Lord led Sarah to move to Midland to be part of the launch team of Redeemer in 2015, and she would later join the staff full time in 2018. Sarah and her husband Jacob have a funny, adventurous 5 year old, Oliver.
Melissa serves as the Creative Director at Redeemer. She began to follow Jesus at a young age and following Him has taken her across the globe in the hope of spreading His Gospel and bringing back stories of how the Lord is at work. She is passionate about people knowing that God is present, merciful and always working things together for their good and His glory. It is her greatest joy to use the creative talents God has given her to serve the Church and her greatest hope for Redeemer is that it would continue to be a place where everyone knows that they have a seat at God’s table and that their story matters. She and her husband Seth are grateful to get to serve and be a part of the rich community that is Redeemer.
Ashwin Joshua Christopher serves as the production director at Redeemer Midland. He was born and raised in Chennai, India. He grew up serving in his church where his parents worked as a church planters and pastors. As a child, he took great interest in music and went against the culture’s ideals for vocation. After finishing his Bachelor’s degree in Theology from the Hindustan Bible Institute in Chennai, he moved to America to pursue another degree in Music and Fine Arts from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He enjoys traveling, cooking, photography, playing music, and participating in adventure sports. During his time at the school, he performed with LU praise, a touring band that traveled weekly across the country. At his local church in Lynchburg, Ashwin met his future wife. Early in 2021, Ashwin and Briana moved from Lynchburg to Midland, Texas in order to follow the Lord’s plan for their love for ministry and the church.
Dylan Roundtree is the Director of Technology for Redeemer. He graduated from Midland Christian School in 2019 and quickly joined their technology department. He joined the Redeemer Staff in January of 2020. Dylan’s hope for Redeemer is that it continues to be a place where people can use their talents to further the kingdom of God.
Caden graduated from Midland Classical Academy in 2020 and now attends Midland College – Go Chaps! He began at Redeemer by running cameras for livestream in 2020 and now handles all maintenance and upkeep for the church. His hope for Redeemer Church is that we would share the gospel in such a way that our gospel-centered missional family expands far beyond the borders of Midland Texas.
