God is beginning a new chapter at Redeemer. Over the last seven years, the Lord has done much more than I could ever have imagined. When we moved to Midland, we prayed God would allow us to plant a new church to reach people, grow deep in the Gospel, serve our city, and truly become family. I pray we don’t ever take for granted what God has done, and what a privilege and blessing it is to be involved in His work.
We are convinced of the mission God has given us to reach Midland, proclaim the Gospel, and to plant churches around the world. First to the Lord is a 2-year journey for us into a new season, with the same mission. And after years of prayer, the Lord has opened a door for a new building. A new place for worship and center for ministry. A building is simply a tool. But I believe it will be an incredibly helpful tool that will help us reach more people with the hope and message of Christ. This new season will require all of us to engage, love, serve and give. My prayer for us in this season, is that God would continue to grow us as his Disciples. I pray our love for him will overflow with generosity that funds His mission. And, as I have prayed for years, I ask God to give us a supernatural unity in Him. May this next season of life and ministry, truly Glorify Christ.
Grateful for each of you,
Jason Hatch, Lead Pastor
